At 20:29 on Tuesday, 30 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.
6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Newport, Telford, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Fire involving ground floor kitchen of public house. Six breathing apparatus, two main jets, three hose reel jets and two positive pressure ventilation fans in use.
