At 16:15 on Thursday, 9 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by smoke from cooking.
