At 20:40 on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Report of fire in field caused by deliberate ignition. Crews have used one hose reel jet to extinguish and area of grass and undergrowth measuring approx 4 meters by 4 meters.
