At 18:11 on Sunday, 23 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to fumes from cooking activating the alarm.
