At 20:09 on Monday, 1 December, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving portable gas cooker which affected portable table and cupboards. This fire was extinguished by occupiers prior to fire service arrival. Crews carried out an investigation using a thermal imaging camera to check for any remaining hot spots.
