At 19:03 on Tuesday, 13 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised.

This incident was an electrical fire in the fuse box caused by charging of an electrical vehicle. Crews used the thermal imaging camera and isolated the electrics.
