At 04:40 on Wednesday, 11 February, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Prees.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Three areas of fire on ground floor of industrial unit that has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
