At 11:31 on Thursday, 9 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Fire involving external dust extractor fan. Fire service personnel engaged in cutting away metal cladding and checking area with thermal imaging camera to ascertain any hotspots. 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets in use to extinguish fire.
