At 13:53 on Friday, 10 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 Male rescued from River Severn by Fire Service using short extension ladder and small gear
