At 15:19 on Saturday, 11 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews called out to an automatic fire alarm with a smell of burning but this was a false alarm caused by smoke being drawn into the building from an outside source.
