At 11:45 on Sunday, 28 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Roden.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 saloon vehicle involved in collision with a tree and hedgerow. No persons trapped. Vehicle made electrically safe by fire service personnel.
