At 15:38 on Monday, 13 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews investigating a strong smell of burning, this incident was a false alarm caused by a faulty light switch.
