At 05:43 on Thursday, 18 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving unattended food left in oven in a first floor flat kitchen area. All persons accounted for, crews ventilated property. Ambulance and Police also in attendance.
