At 13:59 on Wednesday, 5 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Telford Central.

Report of vehicle fire - found to be a mechanical fault on the car causing the smoke to be mistaken for fire.
