At 02:24 on Saturday, 12 December, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder
• Small gear

Small fire in light fitting, out on arrival
