At 14:16 on Wednesday, 23 December, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Dog jumped over fence and trapped on ledge in quarry. Dog rescued by fire service personnel using line safety equipment.
