At 01:00 on Thursday, 24 December, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving kitchen out on arrival, 2 persons suffering from smoke inhalation.
