At 17:37 on Saturday, 2 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Call to a fire alarm and possible smell of smoke. Premises fully inspected and incident found to be a false alarm with no known cause for the actuation of the alarm.
