At 11:35 on Thursday, 7 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving kitchen units, two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one covering jet and thermal image camera in use Fire now extinguished, crews cutting away and damping down, to enable fire investigation
