At 14:31 on Saturday, 9 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Clee Hill.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Ludlow.

1 Border Collie dog fallen into a disused quarry. Rescued by Fire Service Personnel using short extension ladder, no injuries sustained to the dog, the dog reunited with owner.
