At 15:29 on Thursday, 14 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Involving a log burning stove.
