At 13:18 on Friday, 22 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Small gear

1 wooden beam above log burning stove involved in fire.
