At 10:49 on Friday, 11 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Onibury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Craven Arms.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Chimney rods
• Roof ladder
• Small gear

Fire in chimney of two storey property, hose reel jet, chimney rods, stirrup pump and small gear in use, 9m ladder, roof ladder and safe working at height equipment also in use. Crews will re-inspect the property later.
