At 18:22 on Saturday, 12 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Market Drayton.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire in the open involving rubbish and cut trees in a wooded area. Drag hooks and portable lighting in use.
