At 21:07 on Wednesday, 16 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rubbish Fire in Wrockwardine.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Incident involving deliberate burning of rubbish and 1 mattress. Extinguished using one hose reel jet.
