At 18:50 on Sunday, 20 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

False alarm with good intent, alarm caused as a result of a blocked filter within tumble dryer.
