At 08:36 on Saturday, 9 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Wellington.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Dry powder extinguisher
- Hosereel jet
Fire involving small deep fat fryer in ground floor kitchen of two storey domestic property. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 dry powder, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet, ventilation is now in progress. All occupiers were out of the property prior to arrival of Fire Service
