At 14:15 on Monday, 18 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Highley.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 horse stuck in riverside mud led to safety up bank by Fire Service personnel, no equipment in use.
