At 14:39 on Saturday, 23 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
