At 00:13 on Saturday, 30 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Garmston.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Buckets of water
  • Small gear
  • Stirrup pump

Chimney fire involving a log burning stove and flue within the chimney caused by a birds nest.
