At 14:04 on Saturday, 30 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised.

Out of control bonfire which has spread to a fence panel which has been completely destroyed by fire. Extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, advice given to occupier.
