At 11:02 on Monday, 9 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire involving a washing machine. Out on arrival, Crews removed it to the outdoors. Thermal image camera used to check for hotspots. Ambulance also in attendance to treat a 29year old female for slight smoke inhalation.
