At 22:23 on Wednesday, 18 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Water Rescue in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance including the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

2 male casualties have been rescued by fire service boat
