At 12:39 on Wednesday, 25 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Much Wenlock.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the RSPCA.
