At 11:58 on Thursday, 26 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Non Urgent in Ellesmere .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews were called to assist with gaining access to a property where a 1 year old child had accidentally become locked in, however a spare key holder arrived prior to the arrival of Fire Service and gained access. The child was safe and unharmed
