At 15:07 on Saturday, 4 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Cable in Hodnet.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Fire in the open involving hedgerow and rubbish, affecting overhead electricity cable. Electricity Board to attend.
