At 19:45 on Monday, 6 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Bridgnorth.

6 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
