At 13:28 on Tuesday, 7 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Small fire involving discarded BBQ and approximately 2 square metres of grass crews used a knapsack sprayer and shovels
