At 13:38 on Wednesday, 8 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke Issuing in Arden Close, Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Fire involving grill pan in kitchen on ground floor of domestic property. Fire was out on arrival but the property was smokelogged. Property ventilated by fire service personnel. 1 casualty suffering effects of smoke given oxygen therapy by fire service prior to attendance of ambulance.
