At 22:53 on Tuesday, 28 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Hodnet.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Report of cow in brook. No animal found - farmer to continue search in daylight.
