At 15:32 on Sunday, 10 July, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Chillcott Gardens, Madeley .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

Call to smoke alarm actuated in domestic property. This was found to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.
