At 20:18 on Wednesday, 20 July, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Gracelands Residential Home, Ellesmere Road, Whittington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Call to AFA which was found to be a false alarm caused by occupiers using fly spray too close to detector.
