At 19:37 on Tuesday, 2 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving a washing machine in a ground floor kitchen in 2 storey terraced property.
