At 18:07 on Sunday, 7 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Market Drayton.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Market Drayton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
