At 18:27 on Sunday, 7 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Longnor.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road Traffic Collision involving 4 x 4 towing horse box. 2 persons released by Fire Service using Holmatro cutting equipment both to hospital via air and land ambulance. 1 Horse transferred into 2nd horse box
