At 16:58 on Monday, 8 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Area of grass and scrubland approximately 100m square involved in fire. Beaters and 1 hose reel jet in use.
