At 08:18 on Monday, 22 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in St. Martins.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews were called to rescue a cow from the canal but on arrival it had walked out and returned to the field. No action by Fire Service Personnel
