At 19:15 on Monday, 29 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Report of smoke in the area which was found to be a large bale of straw alight in a field. Drag rakes used to break up bale to extinguish fire.
