At 21:46 on Sunday, 4 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Fire involving large quantity of rubbish in derelict building.
