At 10:19 on Friday, 9 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Kinlet.
2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
- Triple/Short extension ladder
Involving Rayburn and chimney in a private dwelling, smoke is present in the loft space. Thermal Imaging Camera, short extension ladder and one hose reel jet in use. Aerial ladder platform also sent due to difficult access.
